Wendy Yi Yi - 过大礼

Grandpa and Grandma have been very busy for this day!! It's Wendy Yi Yi's 过大礼 day!

I'm not too sure what it is all about, but i sure know that Wendy YiYi's wedding day is approaching soon.. and my role of performing the pretty flower girl is getting nearer and nearer.. yippee..how i looks forward.. :)

Here's a little story about what's 过大礼 ...
According to one of the Chinese wedding etiquette, the groom’s family delivers the wedding gifts (過大禮 / 过大礼) to the bride’s family days (or weeks?!) before the actual wedding date.
In the old days, it was meant to be an elaborate event. When the bride’s family receives the wedding gift mostly with items in pairs; another set of gifts will be returned as part of the tradition.
